About This Retreat

A Boutique Healing Experience for Mothers

Inspired by the spiritual journeys of Sally and Steve Baldwin, this event is a special opportunity to connect with like-minded souls and explore the unbreakable bond between parents and children.

Paige and her co-facilitator, Nancy Cooper, attended Sally’s original MomChild Reunion in 2010—an experience that transformed their grief journey. Now in their seventh year, they carry Sally’s torch with honor.

To preserve the deeply personal healing environment, attendance is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you’re willing to tread beyond the limits of logic, you swim in the presence of your loved one. Small group setting preserves a deeply healing environment with mothers who truly understand the grief you carry.

Mediumship

Personal messages from your child, delivered in a group session over Zoom by Kathy MacMannis, a Mark Ireland-certified medium and provider for Helping Parents Heal.

Healing Ceremonies

Spiritual meditations and workshops, private Reiki sessions, grief movement exercises and more, designed for profound release.

Connection Tools

The Setting

Garden Valley, Idaho

MomChild Reunion is held in the historic town of Crouch, Idaho, commonly referred to as the Garden Valley area. On the banks of the gentle Middlefork River, the area offers gorgeous scenery, serene walking trails, a quaint downtown, hot springs pools, wildlife (watch out for elk, deer, and wild turkeys), and so much more.

    River Access, Large Outside Decks, Beautiful Walking Trails, Hot Springs Pools nearby, Pickleball, Croquet, Horseshoes, Shuffleboard
  • Easy Access
    Airfare to Boise Airport (BOI) at your own cost, as well as transport to Paige’s home from the airport, approximately a 30-minute Uber ride. Arrive no later than 3pm on September 16th, and depart no earlier than 2pm on September 20th.
  • Rooms
    We have a total of five private rooms and two semi-private (shared) rooms available. The shared rooms have a queen bed and a bunk bed, but we do not sell the upper bunk unless a group of friends who want to room together request it.

Meet the Facilitators

Led by those who have walked this path themselves and dedicated their lives to helping other mothers find healing and connection.

Paige Lee

For over 15 years, Paige Lee has served the grief community. She is a Reiki Master, Author, Intuitive Grief Coach, Spiritual Teacher, HPH Affiliate Co-Leader, and Founder of Transcending Grief. Her life was forever changed by grief and loss when, in 2008, her 23-year-old son Bryan transitioned to Spirit.  Bryan did not die in vain. He left behind him a legacy of love and compassion that continues to touch the lives of millions around the world. He works closely with his mom, from his side of the veil. 

Nancy Cooper

Nancy Cooper considered teaching her calling until her only child was murdered in 2006, and her extreme grief led her to the metaphysical world for comfort and meaning. Her passion now is helping other bereaved parents on their journey. Nancy and her daughter, Lauren, were blessed to be a part of the 2010 MomChild Reunion with Paige and Bryan. Together with the other moms from that year's retreat, they are known as 'The Sun Valley Moms".

Kathy MacMannis

Kathy MacMannis is a proud mother of 3 beautiful boys, Conor, Jack and Aiden. She is a Shining Light mom of two. Conor and Aiden passed within 8 months of each other in 2013, forever changing her life. Kathy embraced the awakening of her mediumship, remembering how to connect beyond the physical world. Through countless signs, experiences and quiet knowing, Conor and Aiden have shown her that they are still very present in her life. She knows that their relationship did not end it continues, deepens and grows. Together, they have shared with her that there is important work to be done. It is now her soul’s purpose to help others understand that God’s most beautiful gift is love and the deep connection that flows from it. The love we share is ever present, enduring, and continues beyond this life.

Sarah Nisse

Sarah is a Spiritual Teacher and Channel. She grew up as a gifted child and had a "knowing" as to what was going on with the people around her. She would often see spirits walking through her room at night. During her college years, her intuitive, empathic, and mediumistic abilities became so intense that she chose to change her major and her life path. She then started studying with many Shamanic and Healing masters. This course of study led her to her true calling: helping others discover their immense power and divine gifts.

Reserve Your Spot Now

  • A nonrefundable $400 deposit applies toward the full retreat cost. The balance is due in full no later than July 1, 2026.
  • Private rooms are subject to availability. Please note that all bathrooms are shared.
  • At least nine months must have passed since your loss to best meet the group’s needs.
  • Participants must be 18 years old or older at the time of the retreat.
  • We teach spiritually based ideas and practices, not religion. Participants of any religion are welcome.
