Messages of hope and healing

No more hiding

One of the surprising gifts of grief is that it gently clears away what isn’t truly yours. The version of yourself that was just going through the motions. The one that said yes when you wanted to say no. The part of you that had become good at being easy to get along with, agreeable, and smaller than you really are.

Grief doesn’t have the energy to hold onto those masks anymore. It strips you back to what is authentic. And what remains, once the act of performing is gone, is your true self. The real you – the one who’s been waiting quietly underneath it all.

Many people reach this point and feel a bit afraid. Because the real you has opinions. The real you has desires that might not fit into the old life. The real you may not want what you were supposed to want. The real you might be ready to stop hiding.

That’s a good thing.

Let your YOU come out. The world does not need another polished version of someone pretending to be fine. The world needs you — the actual you, the one grief unearthed, the one your soul has been trying to birth for years.

No more hiding.

It feels better on the other side. I promise.
