Messages of hope and healing

Weaving the threads of your grief into your new reality.

“Think of each aspect of grief, each aspect of pain, as a string of thread in a strand of yarn. And all of those strings of thread unravel throughout the grief process. Imagine when you’ve allowed each of those pain emotions to come to the forefront and you’ve leaned into it, again and again–you’ve welcomed the pain of each thread. Then imagine all of those threads weaving into strands of yarn, and those strands of yarn are then woven together into the most beautiful sweater. The sweater is translucent, it’s light, it’s not at all constricting. It’s soft on your skin, it’s airy, it’s so beautiful!”

The sweater is your story. How it will ultimately look and feel is entirely up to you. You are the master of your own creations. So create! Become the best version of you that you can be. There is so much inside of you still, waiting to be reborn, waiting to rejoice in a life that––believe it or not––still holds dreams and possibilities and adventures. As you walk through your grief healing journey, your loved one will be right beside you, helping to intricately weave your own beautiful sweater. You will wear it well; you will wear it proudly. After all, you did the work to create it!
